SIC 2025 Green Light for Friday 4th July

The 2025 BBK Shark Island Challenge has been given the Green light for this Friday 4th July.

With an afternoon high tide, sunny and calm conditions, and an abating yet still bombing East Coast Low directing an abundance of swell up the coast, it’s shaping up to be one of the most promising swells we've seen hit the island in years.

Here's what you need to know.

BOM Coastal Waters Forecast:

Swell: South East 2.5 to 3 metres

Wind: South Westerly 20 knots easing throughout the day

Tide: 3:34pm High Tide @ 1.49m
