Lets go! Shark Island contest director's Mark Sadler & Luke O'Connor have green lighted the SIC for 2026 for this weekend Sunday 24th & Monday 25th May

SIC Director Luke O Connor words below.

"Due to the ECL over the weekend slightly changing its positioning we are making the call to push back the comp to Sunday and Monday.

Will allow the swell to clean itself up a little more, plus with variances in wind direction on many of the key weather forecasting models, coupled with warm water and cold air temps, we could see very light variable winds for Sunday, then further offshore winds till the afternoon turning light southerly late for the Monday.

Thanks for your flexibility on this one, just wanna get everyone into some clean and juicy conditions getting piped off all of their flaming scones over the two chosen days."
