Vent // Venturi Channels

Vent or Venturi channel's are named after the Venturi effect.  The Ventui effect is a result of water being constricted though a narrowing of a pipe, as a result it is forced to increase in speed & decrease in pressure.

The same concept applies to the vent channel's. The laminar flow of water enter's the channel at a higher wider entry point, as it is squeezed through the channel it increases in speed & drops in pressure as it progresses through the channel into the narrower exit at the tail, resulting in increased speed, stability & overall board performance.
