Shark Island Challenge 2026 Standby.

It's time to get excited! Shark Island contest director's Mark Sadler & Luke O'Connor have been vigilantly watching the charts with an East coast low starting to develop in the Tasman Sea.
It's the ideal direction for Shark Island with an intimidating East Pulse in the 6-8 ft range. All athlete's have been notified to get ready for a call Wednesday 20th May from the SIC committee.

We are still awaiting latest forecasts before pulling the trigger for an orange alert, but all the signs are looking good.

Saturday, Sunday & Monday are looking the best with high tides below.

Saturday 23rd May High at 2:29pm @ 1.39m
Sunday 24th May High at 3:28pm @ 1.44m
Saturday 25th May High at 4:22pm @ 1.52m
