Delta tail's are an extreme bat tail. They have more volume & surface aread than a crescent tail & thus more speed & bouyancy. Delta Tail's excel in fast down the line waves & are great for clean lines & long drawn out turns. The delta tail makes the board "sit up" in turns rather than dig in (lIke a crescent tail) this means you cant turn quite as sharp but you'll come out of turn's faster.
