Every rider remembers the board that changed everything.

For me, it was the Turbo Mike Stewart Pro/Comp. I set it up exactly like Mike’s including Gotcha, O'Neill and Freestyle stickers in all the right places. It wasn't just another board. It was the one that took me from riding reforms to pulling in at pumping Piha. 

Then came the Pro/Comp III.

Deck mesh. Slick mesh. A board that redefined what high performance looked like and remains one of the true icons of bodyboarding.

The Mez DualFlex is my tribute to that board. Built with the finest grade materials, fine-tuned for high performance, modern day riding.

A MiniQuad Concave delivers speed, hold and control, while the deck mesh has been fused between the NXL deck and Q12 backing to recreate the unmistakable look of the original. Finished with classic nose and tail pieces, every detail pays respect to a board that inspired a generation, while delivering the performance demanded today.

CORE: Kinetic Polypro 
Kinetic Polypro Core is a state of the art engineered bodyboard core. A lightweight core that is fusion formed to create a nucleus that delivers incredible flexural properties,
including instant recoil, added projection, enhanced longitudinal stiffness & awesome compression strength. This core is100% waterproof.Constructed from premium grade 1.9lb density Polypropylene resins, Kinetic Core delivers amazing projection and response as a result of high pressure cell-fusion created during the blank manufacturing process. Kinetic Core is a warm water core available in various reinforcement configurations, each tuned-in for specific wave condition.
CONCAVE:  X4 Mini Quad Concave
The X4 MiniQuad takes the key design factors of our groundbreaking full-length QuadConcave and shrinks it down, focusing on the back half of the board. Starting below the wide-point, the X4 essentially splits the hull in two, combining the glide and flow of a flat bottom with the drive and directional control of the QuadConcave.  The X4 MiniQuad is designed to excel in small to medium size surf and for quicker transitions closer to the pocket of the wave.
The Quad Concave is precision shaped on our custom built AKU CNC shaping machine.
The AKU gives us the ability to design progressive channel and concave set-ups with incredible accuracy and consistency previously not possible by hand shaping.
STRINGER: Single CFT Stringer
FLEX DualFlex Deck & slick mesh 
DECK: Wavecushion 8lb PE Deck with Q12 Backing
SLICK: Surlyn Slick. Surlyn slick bottom skin is constructed from 1mm Dupont Surlyn backed with a composite layer of 1.5mm IXPE + 1.5mm IXPP for a total thickness of 4mm.
TAIL: Clipped Crescent Tail

REACT MESH: Diamond shaped slick mesh weave fused between the boards core and slick bottom skin for enhanced stiffness and recoil.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Mex Signature Template,  BP Griptech Deck Skin, 55/45 Double rails, XFL Nose & Tail Armour, Bull Grips, Hand Finished, CNC Shaped, Buzz Tech Lamination.
